The Dublin 15 Branch formerly known as the Blanchardstown/Mulhuddart branch was set up in 1987 to meet the needs of the Dublin 15 area. Since it opened it has been involved in a lot of different activities. At present there are 22 active members who attend training on a weekly basis on Thursday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm in the Mulhuddart Community Centre on Church Road. Their ages range from 12 to over 50 years of age. Any one interested in joining is free to come down to see if they are interested and learn more about what we do.
The Dublin 15 branch organises many different activities. There have been many first aid courses organised for the local community and also for local employers. Unit members also provide first aid cover at trade fairs, concerts, discos, football matches and other community events. The unit has also recently acquired an ambulance which will increase the first aid duties that can be covered.
